About e-District Meghalaya
e-District Project in Meghalaya was launched on the 21st January 2016 by the Chief Minister of Meghalaya. East Khasi Hills District was the pilot district for implementation of e-District Project. Subsequently, it has been launched in 11 districts and sub divisions. All the citizens of Meghalaya can apply for the services under e-District Project subject to the fulfillment of certain criteria specific to service. Service can be availed from any of the three modes available:
Common Services Centres ( CSC ) - Rainbow Centers
Public Facilitation Centres (PFCs) set up at the DC/SDO Office

Points to be noted while uploading or scanning of enclosures
- The photograph must be properly cropped and uploaded (min – 20kb, max- 100 kb). Only coloured photo to be uploaded while filling in the application form.
- The documents must be scanned properly. (e.g While scanning for EPIC, scan both sides and upload as one .pdf document)
- If there are additional enclosures that you want to submit, you can upload in “Others” enclosure.
- (If the applicant is above 18 years while applying for ST certificate, the application will not ask ST proof of Parent, but if the applicant has the same document, then he may upload it as Other Document.)
- If enclosure head in “ST of Parent” and you have both mothers and father’s ST, then scan both the documents as one .pdf and upload.
- The maximum size of pdf that can be uploaded is 1 MB per document. Therefore while scanning a document, scan as 75 or 100 DPI.

- Residential Proof - Residential Proof of both Bride and Groom(Land Docs/EPIC/Electricity Bill/Passport/Bank Passbook))
- Proof of Marriage - Proof of Marriage(Wedding Photograph or Wedding Card) (If already married)
- Affidavit - Affidavit of Unmarried(boy and girl) (If still unmarried)
- Death Proof - Death Certificate of Spouse required if already married
- Divorce Decree - Divorced Certificate required if already married and separated.
- The photograph must be properly cropped and uploaded (min – 20kb, max- 100 kb). Only coloured photo to be uploaded while filling in the application form.

Mandatory Enclosures for Registration of Societies:
- EPIC – EPIC of all members of the society to be registered
- Annexure I - Aims and Objectives Document of the Society
- Annexure II - Signature and Photographs of Members of Society (in the format given below)
- Annexure III- Procedure of Holding General Meeting and its Powers and Functions
- Annexure IV - Procedure for conducting General Meeting/Executive Committee its Powers and Functions
- Annexure V - Procedure for Expulsion of the Members of the Association
- Annexure VII - Any other provisions for the management of the Association
- Passbook - Bank Account Passbook of the Association
- Supporting Documents - NOC from headman/nokma where the society is to be established
- Challan Receipt - Challan Registration Fee receipt( Office Seal is required to be taken on the challan before payment in the Treasury from the Dealing Assistant)
- The documents must be scanned properly.
